Iyetule Abobare oversees the Corporate Strategy and Planning function at Optimum Exposures. She is responsible for business transformation, developing and communicating the company’s strategic direction as well as tracking planned corporate initiatives to ensure achievement of overall objectives of the business.
Prior to joining Optimum Exposures, Iyetule worked with CHAMS Plc., Enhancing Financial Innovation & Access (EFInA) both in Nigeria, and Creative Consulting & Training, UK; where she held various project management and leadership roles.
Additionally, Iyetule is an experienced strategy professional who combines her knowledge and experience of project management to ensure organizational goals are achieved in a timely manner. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and PRINCE2 Practitioner (certified by the Project Management Institute, USA and APMG International, UK; respectively) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Soil Science with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from the University of Benin as well as an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
Generally, she has a strong drive for personal development, learning and consistent value-addition which led to her pursuing a second Executive MBA (Advanced Corporate-Level Strategy) at Quantic School of Business and Technology, USA and a Master of Science (MSc.) in Environmental Engineering at the University of Strathclyde, UK.
She currently gives back to the community by leveraging on her knowledge and training in Environmental Engineering to promote public education and awareness of climate change, energy, and sustainable development issues in Nigeria and Africa; by contributing articles for publishing by a Centre for Climate Change and Development in Nigeria.
